"World Hockey Hits The Heartland" is The Theme for World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

Regina, SK - The Under-17 Hockey Challenge host committee announced the theme of the event today and the list of satellite communities where games will be held. World Under-17 Hockey Challenge scheduled for Regina December 29, 2005 to January 4, 2006.

“Our theme, ‘World Hockey Hits the Heartland’ signifies the magnitude of this event and what it means to Regina and our surrounding communities,” said Aaron Fox, Host Committee Chairperson. “The best Under-17 hockey players in the world will be converging on Regina, the heartland of hockey for an exciting world class hockey challenge.”

Thirteen games, including the gold and bronze medal games will take place at the Regina Agridome. Games will also be held in satellite communities of Moose Jaw, Fort Qu’Appelle, Balgonie, Indian Head, Southey and Milestone, and tickets for these games will be available through each respective community.

Regina Pats season ticket holders will have first opportunity to secure their seats as part of their Pats season ticket renewal. The deadline for Pats season ticket holders to renew is June 3. Ticket packages will be available to the public in June.

Ticket packages are as follows (prices are subject to GST)

Adult Packages

Until September 30.................... $125

After September 30.................... $150

 

Student/Senior Packages

Until September 30...................... $90

After September 30.................... $115
