Championship in tournament history, winning all seven tournaments without ever recording a loss.
TSN celebrates the 30th anniversary of the National Midget Hockey Championship from Kenora, Ont., with
coverage of the Gold Medal Game. Formerly known as the Air Canada Cup, the annual event showcases many future
NHL players and is the only officially recognized national minor hockey championship in Canada. Current and
former NHL stars that have taken part in the tournament include Mike Peca (1990), Joe Sakic (1986), Wendel
Clark (1982), Steve Yzerman (1980) and Al MacInnis (1979).

took home the gold medal with a 3-2 overtime win against Sweden.
This year’s RBC Royal Bank Cup from Grande Prairie, Alta., marks the first Junior ‘A’ championship to be
played without a red line to negate two-line passes. TSN has coverage of the Gold Medal Game from the annual
tournament.

North Dakota. TSN has complete Team Canada coverage, plus action from the quarter-finals, semifinals and Gold
