Hogg picked up a loose puck in the slot and roofed a shot over the shoulder of Winnipeg goaltenderTeaganSacher to keep the Central Region champions alive in the hunt for a semifinal spot; an 0-3 start wouldhaveseverely hampered their chances for a final four berth.

Just as they did in a 5-3 loss to St. John's on Tuesday night, the Jr. Knights (0-2-1) found themselvesinpenalty trouble early against the Thrashers (1-1-1), taking six minor penalties in the opening 20 minutesandgiving up a pair of power play goals – to Morgan Winchar and Lyrik Friesen.

But London took just three penalties over the last 40 minutes, and pulled to within one when Hogg setupMike Mandarelli for the 2-1 goal with 2:30 remaining in the second period, setting up Hogg'sgame-tyingmarker 5:26 into the third.

The Jr. Knights pressed for the game-winner after Hogg's goal, but were turned away time and time againbySacher, who made 12 of his 30 saves in the third period. His counterpart in the London goal, Craig Wood, alsostopped 30 shots.

London returns to action in Thursday's early game when it takes on the Halifax Titans at noon NT, whiletheThrashers try for a second win when they face the host St. John's Privateers in the day's late game at 7p.m.NT.
