Canada's National Women's Under 22 Team posted a come from behind 5-3 victory over Germany to capture the 2004 Air Canada Cup title on Saturday night in Bad Tolz. 

A loud and boisterous home crowd celebrated as Germany jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead on two goals from Maritta Becker before Canada stormed back to tie the game with two quick markers in the first 5:53 of the second period from Dana Pretty of Richmond, BC and Jeni Creary of Shell Lake, SK.
The game remained tied until Michaela Lanzl put Germany up by one burying a centring pass behind Brittony Chartier on a 5 on 3 powerplay at 10:14 of the third period.   

Canadian captain Heather Logan of Napanee, ON tied the game with just 2:57 remaining.  A tie was all Team Canada required to capture the tournament title, but Jeni Creary scored the game winner with one minute remaining on the clock.  Katie Weatherston added further insurance for Canada with just 26 seconds remaining.

The victory marks the second consecutive Air Canada Cup title for the National Women's Under 22 Team.   Canadian players and staff will return home on Sunday, February 8th.
