The Beatrice Aeros are once again proud to represent Ontario and the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association for 2002 at the Esso Women’s National Hockey Championship. The 2001 Nationals resulted in a Bronze medal for Team Ontario, who were also Gold medal winners at the 2000 Nationals in Sydney, NS.
The Aeros play in the National Women’s Hockey League and are currently in first place in league play. The defending NWHL Champions have worked hard to retain their position in top spot with veteran players away with Team Canada, preparing for the Olympics. A credit to the team and organization, the Aeros are excited to be again playing in the Nationals, especially this year with them held in their home province. The Aeros welcome all the teams and participants to Arnprior and Renfrew for the 2002 Championships.
The year 2002 will be an exciting year for women’s hockey and the Beatrice Aeros are proud to be part of female hockey in Canada.
