1998 Esso Women's Nationals

Alberta (Edmonton Chimos)

The Edmonton Chimos Hockey Club has been in existence since early 1970 and is committed to providingfemale hockey players with the opportunity to strive for excellence.

Several of our players, both former and present, have represented Canada at the past World and Pacific Rim Hockey Championships. One of the highlights this season was having Judy Diduck and Fiona Smith playing with Team Canada at the Nagano Olympics where they won a silver medal.

Locally, the Chimos have just completed another successful season in the Northern Alberta Women's Hockey League and are preparing themselves for the Esso National's.
